As we wind down 2024, I’m taking a couple of weeks off to recharge and gear up for a big 2025 in AI filmmaking and content creation. This past year brought us incredible breakthroughs, and I’m confident the new year will be no different. From revolutionary tools to inspiring innovations, 2025 promises to push the boundaries of what’s possible—and AIography will be here every step of the way to keep you informed and ahead of the pack.

But before signing off, I couldn’t resist sharing our Video of the Week: Santa-Nator by Dave Clark. Inspired by his son’s imaginative idea, Santa-Nator combines the latest AI filmmaking tools to bring a cybernetic Santa to life. Dave utilized ChatGPT for script ideas, Google Imagen for concept designs, MidJourney for creative variations, Veo 2 for lipsync animation, and Sora (img to vid) for dynamic action sequences, including an epic sleigh ride that has to be seen to be believed. With Runway Gen 3 for fine-tuned lipsync and Udio crafting the perfect soundtrack, this video is a masterclass in seamlessly blending cutting-edge tools to create something fun and memorable.
